Years ago, retirement seemed ages away. I wondered what life would be like. I didn't want to leave the job market because then "what would I do with my time?" Mind you, I've always been a busy person, my hands in various projects, whether making stained glass windows as a hobby, or playing one of my several instruments and volunteering on one board of directors or another for nonprofit groups. Since I retired from full-time work this past July, life has been busier than ever! I've since pursued writing projects that now classify me as a ghostwriter, and I couldn't be happier with how things are falling into place. Today I met with a potential new client, and after an hour of talking at lunch, I got the job. The good thing is, having a home office and being a very organized person, this type of life is suiting me quite well, and for this, I am grateful. As this week our country celebrates Thanksgiving Day, I am most thankful for this phase of life. I'm just getting started!
